Rob & Sharon | Married

Rob and Sharon are two of the most fun people I know.  They are so laid back and genuinely think of EVERYONE else before themselves.  Literally, I would check in with them throughout the day and almost before I could say “how are you doing” one of them would say “are you doing okay?  Thanks for taking all these pictures!”  What?!  It’s my job! But they really welcomed me into their lives and family and treated me like I was a part of the wedding party.  I had a blast working with them.

Their wedding really reflected WHO THEY ARE and I love when that happens.  They held the ceremony AND reception at the home of their “second parents” Tom and Susie.  They jokingly refer to the home as the “Clifton Resort” because they often spend their weekends there lounging by the pool and enjoying the home away from home.  Tom and Susie rocked this wedding invasion of their home.  Tom even had to get dressed in the half bath downstairs because we just took over his master bedroom to let the girls get ready in a room with good light!  They were so sweet and hospitable and ready to do anything to make this wedding a success.

You’ll see the mermaid in several pictures below.  Rob’s mom made the mermaid before she passed away last Christmas.  It was hard for those close to her to celebrate this joyful day without her but she was very much present in spirit.  The mermaid smiled down on the ceremony and reception just like Suzanne did from Heaven.

Rob & Sharon, you did an incredible job pulling together all the details for this wedding.  It was perfect!  Everyone enjoyed themselves.  I hope YOU are enjoying your honeymoon!!
