On The Road Again

I KNOW, I know I haven’t posted in SO LONG.  I’m sitting in a Baltimore hotel right now wishing so badly that I was home!  I’ve been gone since May 4th and I’m starting to go crazy!  I miss my house, my neighbors, my puppy, my church, my garden.  Life on the road is CRAZY!

Hopefully by the end of this week the May 5th wedding will be posted!  Mike and Mary were such a fun couple!  They’re invitations were designed to look like a comic book.  Stay tuned for pictures on Friday!!

Right after Mike and Mary’s wedding I left Fredericksburg and drove to Goshen, Va (nowhere-ville) for InterVarsity’s year end conference.  It was the scariest drive of my life.  Twisted back roads, deer on either side and it started to RAIN and 1:30 in the morning.  I just knew I was going to die.  But I didn’t!  I survived, crashed on my bunk and switched gears the next morning to welcome students to camp!  We had a great week together learning about who God is and who He has designed us to be.  Here’s a picture of CNU Greek IV at Rockbridge… courtesy of my Droid.

Right after Rockbridge ended I got to second shoot another wedding in Woodbridge, Va.  They might have been the most beautiful couple ever.  Barbie and Ken style.  Can’t wait to show you.

After that I went to Culpepper because Zach’s grandma was in town from Arizona.  She is the best and most beautiful old lady I know.  I seriously want to be her one day.  It was so fun to be with her and to see my little niece and nephew!

I left with Zach on Monday to come on his work trip to Baltimore.  Man, such a great thing to be able to be with him and encourage him at his conference but also I am just SO tired!  We leave tomorrow and I am already thankful for the opportunity to unpack my suitcase and do some laundry!

I’ll shoot another wedding on Saturday, Zach will travel to West Virginia to drive a Lamborghini (fun Christmas present from Mom and Dad Fauver!) and then we’ll come home and actually go to church for the first time in three weeks!!  We’re excited.  Hoping for a few naps in the next few days and for life to slow down just a little.  But loving all that I get to be a part of!

Photos to come, I promise it will be worth the wait!  Off to cocktail hour now at the Convention Center.  There’s seriously nothing more fun than being the only girl at a technology conference.
